  • michael · 1 year ago
Lets face it the Chinese government probably forced these people to do it. They probably would not feed the people until they completed so much of it a day. And it is not 100% accurate. Where are all the cars? The overpopulation? The poverty and hunger? It is just more self glorification of China by the Chinese Rapists, I mean government...
  • Benjamin · 1 year ago
hey idiot... do some research before slandering a whole lot of people. Hong Kong is not governed by China, nor would it's people be sanctioned by the Chinese to build this. Hong Kong is independent of China, hardly has any poverty or hunger, and does not condone China's methods of governing its people. So 'let's face it' you just made yourself look so foolish, shallow, and transparent.

On a lighter note.... I thought the artwork was amazing! I've been a Lego fan all my life.
  • jase · 1 year ago
hong kong is not independent of china, dumbass. it is somewhat self-governing now especially economically, but was a dependent territory of Great Britain until 1997, when it was tranferred to China. and now there are worries that its economy will go into recession as a result. and the statement that it 'hardly has any poverty or hunger' is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, although it is way better off than China. they have an enormous amount of poor migrants from thailand, mainland china, and other asian countries. YOU do some research, fag.
  • Bryce · 1 year ago
YO asshole, do you know that China had promised not to interfere with Hong Kong's economy for fifty years and have NOT. Furthermore, even with all its immigrants, the Hong Kong economy is trucking along at seven percent annual growth. I don't see grounds for your fears of a recession in those facts. Do some research, dipshit.
  • agenthornball · 1 year ago
that was really epic until you said fag. made you sound as dumb if not more so than both.

I love it when people argue on the internet about stuff they have no knowledge, its like watching cripples try to maim each other with foam hammers.

  • anonymous · 1 year ago

  • COMMENT ON THE SUBJECT · 1 year ago
No but the people who built it live in Hong Kong....
Now can people please stop using the internet to demonstrate their knowledge ( or more commonly their lack of) and comment on the actual subject.

Thoroughly enjoyed it gotta love the stumble button.
  • jmlabel · 1 year ago
    LOL.

    Face wins.
  • Crispy · 1 year ago
haha. thinks face for the most obvious statement ever. but your research is FAIL!
  • Angela · 1 year ago
Um Hong Kong is actually not just somewhat self-governing, it IS self-governing. Hong Kong is a democracy while Mainland China is communist.

NOW there are worries its economy will go into recession as a result? This is year 2008, as you say the transfer was done in 1997... There was a lot of uncertainty and worry about its economy and freedom PRIOR to 1997, but no anymore since it is now ELEVEN years after the tranffer and Hong Kong is still doing great. Don't tell others to do research when you can't even piece together a single logical thought. "Fag" <-- very intelligent and mature of you.

  • jung · 1 year ago
Michael, the Chinese government isn't a crazy, evil government. I know many people feel that way, but it's not true.

Plus, Hong Kong isn't even directly controlled by the Chinese government. It's a SAR (special administrative region). So the Chinese government can't do anything. They have a deal with Britain to allow Hong Kong to be independently ruled. So that shows you how much you know about this - absolute squat. Don't talk about things you don't know.

  • Rhea · 1 year ago
    1) This rocks. Whoever worked on this is obviously very talented and dedicated.
    2) How on earth did Hong Kong get introduced into this? Beijing is in China.
    3) Chinese people and culture are pretty cool. Chinese government is not so cool. They are not nice, especially to their own folks.

But that is another matter. The fact is, Legos rock and this person/these people did a darn good job!
